A resident of India, violating natural laws, was able to give birth to children
32-year-old resident of India surprised the doctors. According to the analysis, she has mostly (95%) male DNA, but apparently it does not manifest itself. Despite the genetic characteristics, this woman was able to give birth to twins, reports The Daily Mail.
As we all known that a person's sex is determined by a set of chromosomes - XX (female set) or XY (male). This woman has almost all chromosomes XY. She did not experience puberty and never had a menstrual period. Moreover, the vagina was smaller than usual, and the uterus was underdeveloped. This deviation was revealed when the woman turned to the clinic for the treatment of infertility.
However, doctors have put a disappointing diagnosis: XY gonadal dysgenesis that characterized with non-working ovaries, but retaining all of the external female sexual characteristics. The woman survived more than a year of hormone therapy, that helped to develop the uterus and only after that conception took place. Her husband's sperm was used in order to fertilize an egg donor, which then was transplanted into the uterus of the patient.
But after procedure physicians encountered with a new problem - how to lead the pregnancy if her body is simply not appropriate. However, under close medical supervision woman still managed to make a double in the hospital Jindal. Children were born by caesarean. According to doctors, the world's only known about 5 such cases.
