Belarus: Deputies Passed Draft Law On Assisted Reproductive Treatment

In this way, students of Belarus will receive possibility to go abroad without having to receive permission of the Ministry of Education. Besides, the deputies passed draft law on assisted reproductive treatment and guarantee of the rights of citizens when using them. The document fixes three types of technologies: in vitro fertilization, artificial insemination and surrogacy. It is determined that only those who have medical indications can use these treatments. According to the draft law it is prohibited to use in vitro fertilization and artificial insemination in regard to women patients older than 50 years old.
