Giuliana Rancic and husband Bill have welcomed their first child, a son named Edward Duke. The boy was born via surrogate following Rancic's long struggle with infertility.

After Giuliana underwent multiple failed IVF treatments, suffered a miscarriage and won a battle with breast cancer, the Rancics decided to seek out a gestational carrier.

They aren't the only celebs to take the surrogate route. Here are some other Hollywood moms who chose to do the same.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban

Kidman gave birth to the couple's first daughter, Sunday Rose, in 2008. For their second child, they opted for a gestational carrier and welcomed daughter Faith in 2010. Nicole Kidman also shares two adotpted children, Isabella and Connor, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
