Sofia Vergara Engaged a Surrogate to Carry Her Baby
The bombshell reportedly wants another baby with her fiance — and they are planning on using a surrogate to make it happen! A source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY why Sofia is going the surrogacy route.
Sofia Vergara, 40 and fiance, Nick Loeb are happily engaged, but they reportedly want to have kids together — and have already taken the necessary steps to make their baby dream come true!
The couple has reportedly gone through a procedure with their surrogate already, but have yet to know if it was successful, according to Page Six.
“The child will be biologically Sofia and Nick’s baby, and she has selected a surrogate — who is a very close girlfriend — to carry the baby,” the source explained. “A procedure has taken place, and Sofia and Nick will find out in a few weeks if it was successful, if the surrogate is pregnant and if they will become parents.”
The source reveals why Sofia, who is the mom to her 21-year-old son Manolo, wants another baby.
“A baby is something they’ve both wanted for a while, particularly Nick, who has been pushing for it. He is a little uneasy that the surrogate is Sofia’s close friend, but is very excited about becoming a father.”
Sofia Vergara Using Surrogate To Protect Sexy Figure
With such an iconic buxom figure, a source close to Sofia tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that she is using a surrogate to keep her body — and her career.
“At this stage in her career it’s too risky for her to be pregnant and take her out of the sexy roles that she’s getting right now,” the insider reveals. “She would lose her figure and at her age there’s no guarantee that she would ever look the same.”
Sofia and Nick have been dating for three years, and got engaged last summer while visiting the Mayan ruins in Chichen Itza to celebrate her birthday.
Congrats to the happy couple — and we wish them all the best with their baby plans!
