24.07.2013
In Kazakhstan, the need for in vitro fertilization (IVF) in a year is 7 thousand programs, and performed an average of 2 thousand 500 programs. This in an exclusive interview with Portal Kapital.kz the president of Kazakhstan Association of Reproductive Medicine Vyacheslav Lokshin.
The state program in which IVF is available on quotas for the current year will be able to provide only 700 women. Getting the quota is limited to certain requirements. For example, families in which the male is sterile, unable to take advantage of the state quota. Therefore, reducing the demand for the program in the near future will not happen.
