Bisphenol A is causing serious harm to the eggs
Scientists say with confidence that Bisphenol A is causing serious harm to the eggs, and can be a cause of infertility.
This chemical compound is used in the manufacture of plastics from which, in turn, make the water bottles, dishes, appliances, etc. Back in 2010 Bisphenol A has been recognized by FDA as harmful to human health.
Experts from the Laboratory of assisted reproductive technologies of Brigham Hospital and Women's Hospital in Boston studied 352 eggs obtained from 121 women - patients of infertility treatment center. These eggs, rejected for use in IVF, were exposed to different doses of bisphenol A.
It was established that the substance has a strong influence on pathological oocytes. Under its influence the number of maturing eggs is decreased and the number of degenerating is increased.
