One more reason for infertility in women
Australian scientists have identified an unexpected factor that can cause female infertility. According to researchers, their fathers who are overweight at the time of conception are "guilty" in infertility in women.
The study's author, Dr. Michelle Lane of the University of Adelaide in an interview to Fertility Society of Australia said that "there is a clear relationship between the weight of the father at conception and the health of the daughter in the future, in particular, the excess pounds affect her ability to get pregnant in the future. The first results of our studies of animals indicate that obesity in fathers can affect not only their own fertility. But why "the effect of obese fathers is passed to daughters, we can not say with certainty."
