Even one glass of wine a week reduces the chances of a successful conception

Even one glass of wine a week reduces the chances of a successful conception more than twice. This is the result of research conducted by U.S. experts.
The researchers observed 90 married couples who have undergone three failed IVF cycles. It was found that women who completely abstain from alcohol for a few months before the planned conception, had three times higher chance of getting pregnant than those who consumed an average of three glasses of wine a week.
The negative effects of alcohol are observed for women trying to conceive naturally as well. The risk is increased for women who drink several different drinks per evening.
