"Too fat for IVF": We lost 13 stone to have our dream baby

“I was absolutely devastated when I was told I was too heavy to get pregnant. I thought being a woman it was my given right to have a baby and I was heartbroken that it might not happen. I felt let down, hurt and mostly inadequate that I couldn’t give Alan what he so desperately wanted,” says Tiffany. “Alan and I had been trying so long we thought we’d never be parents.”
But finally, following eight years of failed attempts at conceiving and after together shedding 13st 8lb, their first baby is due in May.
