18.11.2013
This is the opinion of some experts that gathered in order to watch movie "The artificial womb: incorporeal birth."
The movie by French director Marie Mandy was featured in RIA Novosti as part of the project "Scientific Monday." According to the director, the bearing of a child outside the mother's body will be possible, because this is how technology of artificial insemination is improving, and the nursing of premature infants is done in an increasingly early stages.
Participants of the discussion, that followed the movie, agreed that the technology is likely to be developed over the next fifty years. Probably the artificial uterus will be created with the use of stem cells.
