Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation is not against surrogacy

Director of Department of medical care for children and obstetric services Baybarina Elena said that the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation does not support the idea of banning surrogacy in Russia.
A week earlier, the head of the Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children Elena Mizulina said that surrogacy should be banned in Russia.
According to the Ministry of Health in Russia up to 20% of couples of reproductive age suffer from infertility.
