Non-surgical testing for men
Non-surgical testing is developed for men ejaculate that has no sperm.
Currently, men who are diagnosed with azoospermia, can go through biopsy of the testicle. This test lets you know whether the organism produces suitable for fertilization ( IVF ICSI) sperm.
Scientists from the Institute Lunenfeld - Tanenbaum (Toronto) developed biochemical test that can show whether there can be successful receipt of the sperm from the testicles.
"The advantage of this method is that we do not need surgery to determine if a man has sperm in the testicles " - comments Dr. Keith Jarvi.
Currently, work is continuing to adapt testing procedures for use in the treatment of infertility clinics.
"According to optimistic forecasts this will happen in a year. According to pessimistic - in two years, we are moving very quickly ," - said Dr. Jarvi.
