State Duma plans to regulate surrogacy

New draft law on surrogacy will be prepared by the State Duma in 2014.
MP Elena Mizulina, recently harshly criticized this reproductive technology, at a meeting of the Committee on Family, Women and Children said that the expert group is invited to consider a draft law on surrogacy. The deputy noted that the committee has recently received a large number of complaints from citizens on this subject. Mizulina stressed that it is not a ban, but the legal regulation of surrogacy issues.
