In Switzerland will be allowed egg donation
21.02.2014
Swiss law "On Assisted Reproductive Technologies " is one of the strictest in Europe.
Thus, according to this law, in Switzerland is allowed sperm donation, but not oocyte donation, and childless couples who need to use this reproductive technology are forced to turn to foreign clinics. It is clear that it imposes restrictions on families who do not have sufficient funds for treatment abroad.
But soon the situation may change. An MP from the Christian Democratic Party (PDC) Jacques Neyrink made a proposal to amend the federal law - so that in the field of reproductive health men and women have equal rights.
