Caesarean section effect on decreased immunity in newborns
The majority of children that were born by Caesarean section have sufficiently weakened immune system. According to specialists from the University of Copenhagen, the fact is that kids do not contact with the intestinal bacteria from the mother's body in that volume, as do children born naturally.
Danish researchers studied the effect of cesarean section on the example of mice. It turned out that mice-caesar attended fewer cells, strengthening the immune system. The researchers explained that the bacteria that live in the mother's body, plays a key role in the health of the child. With them it contacted during childbirth.
Also experts stressed that these bacteria teach the immune system of newborn to distinguish safe molecule own body and foreign elements. Thus, in the future the immune will not attack cells in the body. Namely violation of this mechanism is behind autoimmune diseases like diabetes type 1 and different types of allergies.
