The ability to learn of the child appears in the womb
Previously it was thought that children are able to learn only after the birth, but recent research has established that it is not so. Children begin to process information much earlier. Already in the womb they can remember, according to Science World Report. "Voice of mother is extremely important to the fetus. Our study suggests that it is involved in early learning and child memory development in the womb. Moreover, probably his mother's voice may favorably affect the child in a situation where he is born prematurely," - says Associate Professor at the University Florida Charlene Krueger.
Scientists from the University of Florida conducted a study, which was attended by 32 pregnant women. They were asked twice a day for three times to repeat a short poem. They had to do it from the 28th to the 34th week of pregnancy. After that the researchers included embryos record the same poem, but recited by unknown woman. The control group listened to other verses also hear from strangers. During that scientists measured the fetal heart rate. They believed that the slow pulse - is a sign of learning.
On the 34th week those embryos, who were listening to the same verses read by their mother, have much slower pulse than in the fetuses of the control group. The effect was visible from the 34th to the 38th week. At the 38th week the embryos, which heard the same verse in the performance of an unknown woman, slowing heart rate was most pronounced. In embryos of the control group in the same period was significantly faster pulse.
