In the US clinic during one month were born six pairs of twins
At a clinic in the US state of Missouri just in one month saw the light 6 pairs of twins, 9 girls and 3 boys.
Interestingly enough, all the children were conceived naturally, without the use of any assisted reproductive technology. Now all the babies are in the maternity ward; their ages ranging from 3 to 30 days. Despite prematurity of some pairs of twins, their health is not a concern.
According to statistical studies in the United States, it is marked a significant growth in twin pregnancies. For almost three decades, from 1980 to 2009, the number of multiple births has increased by 76%. In 2013, for every 1,000 pregnancies among women living in the United States there were 33.7 pregnant with twins. This is 2% more than in 2012.
Many experts attribute this trend to the widespread use of ART procedures (IVF). The number of births triplets is reduced, due to the improvement of the technology of in vitro fertilization.
