Olive oil will help in successful conception
A new diet for successful conception can offer women researchers from the University of Southampton.
Scientists conducted an experiment involving more than 100 couples that received treatment for infertility using IVF procedure.
Study participants were divided into two groups: members of one of them for six weeks in the diet used olive oil for cooking and ate food supplements with vitamin D and omega-3. Second of the controlled group used sunflower oil in the diet.
In summing up, it was found that the presence of olive oil in the diet significantly increases the chances of a successful conception - up to 40%.
As the researchers found previously, the presence of omega-3 (included in the olive oil) in the diet of the future mother promotes more rapid development of embryos after in vitro fertilization.
Today specialists are ready to recommend the inclusion of olive oil in the diet of women who experience problems with conception.
